Baby, I don’t want to waste your time Feeding you some bullshit line I don’t want to tell no lies Nothings, sweet or otherwise There’s just one thing I want to do I want to make love to you I don’t want to wine and dine Hear your tales or tell you mine Nothing else I need to know You only need to say hello No chatting on the telephone I only want to take you home ‘Cause there’s just one thing I want to do I want to make love to you Let’s avoid the cinema And not go to a sushi bar I only wanna ride in your canoe Look at you come walking by See that glimmer in your eye Yeah, I like to see you smile I’d like to be with you a while Just one look and then I knew And I can tell you feel it too Yeah, I want to make you mine I never saw a girl so fine There’s just one thing I want to do I want to make love to you

Danger Zone 06:31
Like water rushing in a stream Like an incandescent dream Like a butterfly in the month of May Everything just floats away Footsteps bounding down the hall Bouncing like a rubber ball A pair of boots, a pair of twins, I could’ve handled anything Deep thrombosis, mighty bass Strand of hair across your face That beat that made my heart perspire Your body set my mind on fire Rain clouds gather in the sky Never had a reason why You should’ve said, I didn’t know I didn’t want to see you go A photo on the telephone Cross into the danger zone A whip, a mace, a leather glove Anything at all for love Anything at all for you If I only had a clue What I did or what I said If I could see inside your head Dirty streets and dirty minds Disobey the warning signs Dislocated rendezvous I send another message through And I hope it reaches you And I hope it reaches you I send another message through So you can tell me what to do You flip my lid You rock my boat You turn me into a billy goat I’m dancing naked just for you I want to eat you like fondue You set my inner monkey free I’m climbing up the crazy tree I tear my shirt, I throw my shoe Tell me, baby, what to do You send me spinning Like a toy boat in a hurricane Tsunami in my heart Flushing through my brain My knees go weak My brain cells fry My heart explodes into the sky Like a rocket shooting through The atmosphere to get to you A thousand volts Electric wire A human torch My hair’s on fire Help me, baby, I’m turning blue Tell me, baby, what to do You send me spinning Like a toy boat in a hurricane Thunder in my heart Rushing through my brain You flip my lid You rock my boat My tongue goes thick inside my throat The crazy things you do to me I can’t think and I can’t see I think you know the antidote I don’t sink and I won’t float Help me, baby, I’m turning blue Tell me, baby, what to do I only want to be with you Tell me, baby, what to do

The Bozone 05:44
It was out in the Bozone Pine trees and cow bones Huntley/Brinkley, old canoe All the minutes slipping through Big Sky mountain, valley town I like to ride my bike around Down on Main Street, up on Grand Bird just inches from the hand I brush my teeth with cheese Espresso is my floss I do just as I please No one is my boss I do what no one wants I answer questions no one's asked My sofa bed is glorious The future comes at last The future comes at last Squeezing out the Crest again Thinking of the now and then Lazy lunchbox, afternoons Braces, lip gloss, cherry spoons Bubblegum geometry Popcorn, pizza pie Do you ever google me My, how the time does fly The kind of hat with ear flaps Is the kind I used to wear Now I like to feel the wind Blowing through my hair Look out, pretty lady I bet you think I’m weird Turn around and look again The future’s disappeared The future’s disappeared Let’s go back up to your room And practice making out Go climb up my apple tree And hear the bluebird shout Take this pig to market The arrow flies at noon I’ll meet you at the fieldhouse On the flipside of the moon The cats are in the cat box The band is up on stage The wax is on the moustache The words are on the page The lamb is in the meadow The cows are in the corn The queen is in the parlor The future’s being born The future’s being born Up the river, back in time To the first line of the rhyme Before its match was met below How did it know which way to go Sandwiched in the present Filed like a nail You know where to find me Out on the dusty trail It’s time to do your homework It’s time to settle down It’s time to get up off your butt It’s time to move around And when the crows are calling And when the clock strikes ten It’s time to turn to the next page The future starts again The future starts again

The lights were much too bright there The music swam around I can’t remember when I saw her But I remember what she found Her eyes were red as Frisbees I heard the lightning crash A storm of perfect fury A goddess and her wrath Well, we hadn’t oughta done it, we did it anyway The rocket’s taken off, there’s nothing more to say You can’t turn back the clock and start at yesterday The chips are blowing in the wind and all will fall away Down into the wet streets feeling kind of weird Trailing into darkness, rainfall in my beard I ducked into a doorway and I thought that I was clear But you know I got it wrong, it was worse than I had feared Smoke is curling round my ears, I think I’ve heard enough Sweeper sweeping sidewalks, loosely piled fluff The stars are moving brightly in the early morning air Picking up the pieces, shake the idea from my hair Well, we hadn’t oughta done it, we did it anyway The rocket’s taken off, there’s nothing more to say You can’t turn back the clock and start at yesterday The chips are blowing in the wind and all will fall away

Ode To SEPTA 05:23
I pinned my dreams to the city bus But it seems like they forgot about us I’ve been standing out here since half past eight And, wouldn’t you know it, the bus is late If it came right now that would sure be great But all I can do is stand and wait I had to go downtown for an interview I had my shirt tucked in and my tie on, too With hope in my heart and time to spare I went to the corner but the bus wasn’t there I stood on that corner for way too long By the time I arrived, that job was gone Friday night I went to meet my girl I was gonna take her to the top of the world But the flowers I got, they turned from red to brown I never got that night on the town That girl said we needed some time apart City bus, you broke my heart Out on the corner there’s nothing to see I've got someplace I need to be Standing here checking the clock Five more minutes and I’m gonna walk Those busses come by one two three Unless you have somewhere to be You could bake to death in the heat of the sun A puddle of sweat by the time it comes And you know for sure when the rain does fall You’ll never see a bus at all

about

Hawk Tubley & The Ozymandians return, bringing a rock and roll edge to their previous psychedelic folk-rock meanderings. "Just One Thing" channels the perfect dating website profile. "Danger Zone" ponders romance in the digital age. "The Bozone" is a reflection on growing up in pre-digital times. "Hadn't Oughta" describes the joy and desperation of a co-dependent union. And "Ode to SEPTA" is a public transit rider's lament - will the bus ever come? This music will have you tapping your toes along to sly, intelligent lyrics, shredding electric guitar, and rocking polyphonic stomps.

THIS MUSIC MAY BE ENJOYED LOUD.
